A  HUGE waste of money....
In light of the Superbowl tonight I want to discuss how much money is wasted on the shirts and memorabilia for the "winning" team.  The NFL and other organizations have shirts and hats printed with the title "super bowl winner" well before the game even takes place so that immediately following the game the winning team can sport the shirt.  One of the first commercials after the game was one where you could order a shirt, hat and dvd package.  My question is what happens to the thousands maybe even millions of dollars worth of clothes that has the losing teams name on it?  It just seems like such an enormous amount of money to waste, money that could be donated to a better cause.  It just shows how much money the NFL makes and how much they will waste and not even think twice about it.  Maybe they donate the clothes and I dont know about it but I just cant get over the absurdity of printing shirts and hats for both teams before knowing the winner of the game!  AND AS A NEW YORKER...... GO GIANTS!!!!!!
